Tungsten Ring Styles
Relationships are something that gives birth to lots of expectations when marriage comes into the picture. It’s not long after committing to tying the knot to launch out into a shopping spree for.. you guessed it.. a wedding ring!
The search for a wedding ring is one of the most important activities leading up to the wedding day; and there are some things one should keep in mind while on that trail.
1. Each spouse should be involved in the activity of choosing a ring. It is REALLY not recommended to just go out an purchase one without at least having a general idea of what the other thinks or is looking for.
2. Consider if of both your rings should be matching or not or if the styles go well together.
3. The cost of course! Are you going to get white gold, yellow gold or platinum? There is a lot of variation in the pricing depending on what you decide for a precious metal. And it should be in the general vicinity of your budget or you’ll be asking for a quick struggle after that wedding day when the bill comes due!
4. Consider the source of where you buy the ring. Some jewelers are more reputable than others. You want to make sure there’s a good warranty and that they’ll take care of you in every way possible. This includes both online and offline retailers. Check them out first!
5. Size, size, size… think ahead. Especially if you are looking at Tungsten Ring Styles. You don’t want to be stuck in a few years or sooner with a ring that no longer fits OR can’t be resized.
Your plan is to be wedded for a lifetime. Taking the time to do all of the above right could save you a lot of headaches and heartaches in the future!
When I was choosing my tungsten ring one of the big things that the salesman really drove home for me, saying it several times, was the fact that with a ring, if anything happens to your finger,…
…cannot be cut off. It’s tungsten. It’s almost as hard as a diamond! A diamond cutting tool will have trouble..
That did make me pause. At the same time it’s an awesome ring! Sometimes a guy can brag about.. It was beautiful yet manly.
And I thought to myself, it also will protect my finger if anything should ever happen to it. In other words, if I get my hand on the door, chances are my hand is not going to get crushed because that ring is so tough, it won’t budge, it won’t break, it won’t bend… they’ll have to cut the door off around it.
But yes, if your finger should swell up or get mangled somehow and they can’t get that ring off by sliding it off, you really only have two choices: 1) Wait for the swelling to come down and work around it and 2) Cut the finger off!
I’m just saying… it has to be part of your decision process. For me it was worth the risk. I had to think, What are the odds of that scenario really happening?
